Fiberglass Eyebrow Believe it or not, there are only three iterations on this eyebrow.
Dave Chandler, Unlimited Composites, built the first eyebrow in 1999. I only made about 20 of these. I didn't like the unfinished ends. 'Hangar neighbor Jack' wanted an eyebrow for his Piper and it had this cool return into the corner and it really gave it a finished look. I had Dave make a version for Grummans. I had 2 made like that. The ONLY change to that one was to raise the corners about 1/4 inches. This version has been made since 2001. I got it PMA'd in 2014 at a cost of $10,000. To date, I've had Dave make about 400 of them. I've included installation pics since it isn't an easy swap. Figure about 10 to 20 hours for installation.
