# 00: I spent a lot of time on this because I REALLLLLY thought I could use this cowling and my plane for the flight testing. It only made sense. To me, anyway. The FAA said they had no reason to think this came from the proper tooling. N28747 was experimental for the duration of testing. Then approved.
Flat out (no antennas, no steps, no beacon) it would do 159-160 knots TAS @ 2950 rpm. I could run at 2700 rpm and 149-150 knots TAS anytime I wanted. The next step is an IO360 and the next generation cowling.
