#11. This is Larry Massaro's plane. I started working on a new inlet for the AG5B in 2009. The first prototype worked fine but it was ugly and a bitch to fabricate. The 5th iteration is sexy.  Sexy is faster.  It's based on a submerged, AKA NACA, inlet. I finished the final FAA certified flight testing on February 11, 2015. Testing shows this inlet recovers between 0.8 and 1.3 inches of manifold pressure that the original AG5B inlet gives up; the production AG5B inlet is really bad.  The next step is getting this inlet approved for the Jaguar cowling.  It's close. The prototype should be ready to fly by the summer of 2015. Then, N9186M gets one.
