N28840: At the time, the worlds most perfect Tiger.

I enjoyed working on this plane. N28840 was my first full time job as AuCountry Aviation.

Both Travis (the owner at the time) and I made out on this project. Travis donated his to me plane for nine months to develop my Jaguar Cowling.  In exchange, I did the firewall forward restoration for FREE; well, most of it anyway.  LyCon built the engine.  It made 205 hp on the dyno.  The one-piece panel was Travis' idea. Long story behind the instrument panel.  At the time, I thought this was the way to go. Look closely at the seats. They are 4 inches higher.  Again, not a bad idea. But, reaching into the back seat is a bitch.  The last two pics are headphone jack locations. N28840 is in the first; it's OK.  Lots of crap falls into the holes however.  Now, I install headphone jacks like the ones in the second picture.
