Oil Cooler on an AA1x

Simple is the best. No SCAT tubing. No holes drilled in the firewall.

I first installed an oil cooler like this on my Cheetah (N9988U) circa 1987. Ken Blackman probably took that off too; even though I had a 337 for it.  Anyway.
The simplest way is to make a flange that mounts the oil cooler to the outside of the cylinder baffle centerline. The conglomeration of parts that Fletcher sells to install an 8406 oil cooler on a Cheetah is just plain nuts. It could have been done with a different #4 cylinder baffle.
