N1976T: This was Jeff Keesaman's Tiger. Last I heard it was abandoned in San Diego. What a waste. This plane went to 242 mph in, not one, but 5 dives to Vne plus 20%, 242 mph, for FAA flight testing. It's as smooth as glass at that speed. Hell of a time keeping the engine under redline.
