A smarter rear seat back latch

I first thought of this in 1984 when I got my first Grumman (Cheetah)

I often wondered why they didn't just put a little tab on the front. When I want to lay the seat back down, it's much easier to push down on the front than lift up from the back.  I had Mike weld a little tab on a standard latch and I checked to see if it would work.  That was the easy part. Getting them drawn and made was not so easy. After 3 prototypes, I got one that works.  They are not cheap to make, either.
