Jaguar cowling on N932TE

The cowling for this plane was originally fitted to N119ST.  Ned wanted the cowling for a race in April.  Brian agreed.  For whatever reason, it took forever to get the airbox installed and cowling fitted.   Click here to return to the Restoration Page

Ned isn't smiling.  Right from the start, this project had problems.  First, the AG5B needed to be converted to an
AA5B carb airbox.  Then, the DER didn't want to approve the cowling because of the 3-bladed prop.
Is Ned smiling?  It's hard to tell.  I finally got the cowling approved through the Sacramento FSDO
(oh, my god, did the FAA really come through in a pinch?).
My PI and I discussed the installation with 2 different propeller experts.  "No worries, Mate."
The AA5B airbox and the AG5B hardware are made for each other.
